Amenities
Casey and Zachary were very responsive during my one night stay in the airbnb. Unfortunately, there was a lot of pet hair on the couch; I found a toenail on the floor; the bathroom smelled; and the hot water was not working the night I stayed. I had to take a cold shower. It is right in downtown Pittsburgh, so very convenient; however, it was loud outside my window at night. Casey and Zachary apologized profusely and gave me a small refund. But for the amount charged, I would have preferred to stay at a hotel for a little more money and be comfortable with a hot shower and without having to worry about bringing cat hair back home with me (my partner is allergic). Needless to say, dry cleaning my clothes cost me more than the refund offered. There was a slight weed smell since it was on top of a smoke shop. Additionally, some corners were a little dusty, but everything else was very comfortable. My husband and I love Pittsburgh and we were very excited to bring our pups to visit our daughter for the weekend. The location was good, paid parking was close by, and the building was quiet. It is above a cannabis store so the smell is STRONG, but that wasn’t the problem. The floors were so dirty we had to keep socks on, the outlet for the coffee maker didn’t work so we had to string the electrical cord across the kitchen sink to use it, there were large holes in the walls behind every door, the door frames in the bedroom & bathroom were all chewed up, and the shower didn’t have hot water. I let the owners know this and asked for some sort of resolution but instead they have chosen to ignore my photos and complaints. We would absolutely never stay here again or recommend this place to anyone else.
